Online Fire Training Just Got Better, and Here's How

It hardly seems possible, but it's true: online fire training, which was already pretty good to begin with, has just gotten better. Here's how:

We are now bringing the excitement online! At Action Training Systems, Inc. we have always prided ourselves on providing superior training programs for emergency responders. Throughout our 26 years, we have always kept the philosophy that training programs are used not to replace hands-on training, but as a tool for the instructor to support and enhance essential education. Now by bringing our courses online, we can continue to bring our training techniques to you in an interactive form.

Our firefighter training program will continue to be a great tool for initial or recurrent training whether it’s learning how to handle hose and ladders, safely drive and position pumping apparatus or how to respond to potential HAZMAT  incidents. This will help prepare for hands-on training and real life incidents. All of our online programs are based on current national standards and our EMS programs have been approved by CECBEMS. We have online tutorials for both the instructor and students to help you get started.

“We have been pleased with the online firefighter modules from Action Training Systems. We are currently working on Salvage & Overhaul, then we’ll be heading into Fire Detection, Alarms & Communication.

Since we started using this training system, we’ve noticed that the members who’ve participated in the online modules as assigned, end up having a much greater understanding of what is expected during practical sessions, and this increase in comprehension really shines through during the hands-on training.”

Of course there's nothing like face-to-face instruction but, by combining the two, we can help you give your 21st century students a 21st century education. When considering training and development opportunities today, E-learning can be on-demand, offering flexibility in terms of when and where students participate (a feature some highly value), and can be extremely cost effective. These great independent learning tools have been proven to increase learner comprehension because students can just simply login and work at their own pace in an atmosphere that is comfortable and can access their lessons from any pc or mac.
